  • Register for Visitors' Day - BCP

    November 21, 2024 - 8:30am - 2:30pm

Current eighth grade students are invited to spend the day and experience life as a Benedictine Cadet. Tour our academic and athletic facilities and visit classes, including theology, leadership, foreign languages, fine arts, band and more. This is your opportunity to ask questions of current Cadets: What is orientation like? What is morning formation? What advice do you have for incoming students? See how Benedictine prepares Cadets for success in college, and beyond, backed by a lifelong brotherhood. Lunch will be provided.

Visitors' Day is a perfect time to see up close the experience of transformation and honor Benedictine offers, which is marked by competitive academics, dynamic traditions, active faith and a proven military leadership program.

Are you a current 8th grader and ready to see what it's like to be a Saint Gertrude student? You will arrive at our Goochland campus between 7:00 and 7:15am, where you will meet your Saint Gertrude student ambassador. She will guide you through the day, starting with our school-wide daily Morning Gathering in the Great Hall. Then you will attend the first three class periods, meet our faculty and see for yourself how our college preparatory curriculum fosters intellectual curiosity, creative thinking, confident leadership and academic excellence. The final stop will be a Q&A session with upperclassmen. The visit will conclude at 10:45 a.m.

Shadow days are a great way to see firsthand how Saint Gertrude prepares students for success in college, and beyond, and to experience some of the rich traditions that make our school community so vibrant and welcoming. Please join us to experience the school day as our students do!
