  If you are an 8th grader interested in the camaraderie developed at Benedictine, we invite you to join us for a Shadow Day! Experience a day in the life of our cadets. Please arrive on campus at 7:30 AM, where a current student will greet you and give you a tour.

   

  Your day will begin with a morning formation, where you'll witness the camaraderie and discipline that define our school culture. Afterward, you'll attend four classes followed by lunch (please bring your own) with a 12:00 PM pick up time.

   

  Shadow Days are an excellent opportunity to see how our school prepares young men for success in college and beyond while immersing yourself in our proud traditions and values. We invite you to experience a day like no other!

  Are you a current 8th grader and ready to see what it's like to be a Saint Gertrude student? You will arrive at our Goochland campus between 7:00 and 7:15am, where you will meet your Saint Gertrude student ambassador. She will guide you through the day, starting with our school-wide daily Morning Gathering in the Great Hall. Then you will attend the first three class periods, meet our faculty and see for yourself how our college preparatory curriculum fosters intellectual curiosity, creative thinking, confident leadership and academic excellence. The final stop will be a Q&A session with upperclassmen. The visit will conclude at 10:45 a.m.
  
  Shadow days are a great way to see firsthand how Saint Gertrude prepares students for success in college, and beyond, and to experience some of the rich traditions that make our school community so vibrant and welcoming. Please join us to experience the school day as our students do!
