Kick off Homecoming 2024 weekend at the annual Hunt and Gather event. After a sponsor-only upland bird hunt, the BSoR community gathers for an after-party at Orapax Hunting Preserve, which includes a pig roast, oysters, live music, and a bonfire. This event is open to alumni, current parents, and friends. During the event, you will have the opportunity to sponsor a Cadet or Gator on a multi-day sporting experience. All proceeds from the Hunt and Gather directly support the BSoR Conservation and Hunt program.

$40 per person 21+ or $25 per person under 21

About the BSoR Conservation and Hunt Program

Through teaching, hands-on experience, and practice, students not only learn the important lessons of conservation, but in turn develop a set of skills and values around caring and protecting that will serve them throughout life. Students learn to appreciate the world around them through valuable experiences but also about potential consequences and impact of their actions.
